Rights & consent
Licensed likeness. Real consent.
The production is AI. The permission never is. Here's exactly how likeness works at Unreal — for the talent who grant it and the brands who use it.
How the license works
Four guarantees, every campaign.
Talent-granted
Nothing is produced without an explicit license from the talent. Likeness is licensed, never assumed.
Time-limited
Each grant runs for a set duration the talent agrees to — for that campaign, not forever.
Category-scoped
Bounded to the products, brands, and categories the talent approves. Everything else is off-limits.
Revocable
Talent can decline a campaign and limit future use. The license is never a blank check.
For talent
You control your likeness.
- Set your terms — categories, exclusions, rate, and duration
- Approve every campaign, frame by frame, before it ships
- Name brands and categories you'll never appear in
- Earn for every approved use of your licensed likeness
For brands
You get clean rights.
- Every asset is licensed and talent-approved before delivery
- Usage is documented and bounded — no rights ambiguity
- Cleared for paid, social, and retail within the agreed scope
- One signed approval trail per campaign
The line
What we never do.
Use a likeness without a license
Sell or sublicense a talent's likeness
Ship a single frame without sign-off
Ignore a talent's exclusions
This explains our model in plain terms. The binding details live in each talent's agreement and each brand's campaign license.
Start
Talent-approved, every time.
